Two New Winter Scenes and Lonnie’s Studio

Lonnie has been busy painting winter again, capturing the quiet beauty of the season he loves so much. One of his newest pieces, the snowy farm scene with the Christmas tree, was selected for display in the front lobby of Vinson Hall during the holidays, a wonderful honor and a perfect setting for the painting.

The other image offers a glimpse into his creative world: his painting setup in his room at Arleigh Burke, where these scenes come to life. It’s special to see not only the finished work, but also the place where the process happens.
